These Terms define how 1Base is provided and the responsibilities that protect financial integrity, confidentiality, and secure collaboration across personal and project-scale operations.

1. Scope of Service
1Base provides a secure financial operations workspace for busy professionals managing workflows from personal expenses to large-scale projects.
These Terms apply to all users who access the platform directly or through an organization account.
2. Authorized Access and Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining secure credentials and limiting account access to authorized people only.
- Use strong passwords and do not share login credentials.
- Promptly remove users who no longer require access.
- Notify 1Base immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Financial Data Integrity
The platform records workbook edits, sheet lock actions, completion states, and sync operations to preserve operational traceability.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of project data entered into the system.
4. Security and Confidentiality Commitments
1Base is operated with layered controls designed for financial workflows where trust and evidentiary traceability are essential.
- Encryption in transit and encrypted storage for sensitive project records.
- Role-based permission boundaries and auditable access changes.
- Monitoring, patching, and least-privilege operational practices.
5. Availability, Backup, and Continuity
1Base maintains service operations with backup and recovery practices to reduce risk of accidental data loss.
Planned maintenance may occur and will be managed to minimize disruption where practical.
6. Incident Response and Notification
If a verified security incident materially affects your data, 1Base will activate incident response procedures and provide timely communication.
Notifications include known impact, containment status, and next mitigation actions as details become available.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use the platform in ways that violate law, infringe rights, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt service integrity for other users.
8. Termination and Data Handling on Exit
Either party may discontinue service according to contracted terms. Upon closure, customer data handling follows the retention and deletion controls in the Data Privacy page and any executed service agreement.
9. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated as the platform evolves. The latest version will be published with an updated effective date.
Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
